Donna and AJ Donna is an energetic young lady who recently retired her first CCI Service Dog, Wendall, after 10 years. At that time she applied for her second CCI assistance dog. Although there is a long waiting list to receive a CCI dog, those who are applying for a sucessor dog are moved to the top of the list. In August of 2001 Donna returned to CCI in Santa Rosa and received AJ II. Donna's position in a local bank keeps her very busy. AJ is right by her side every day helping Donna by picking up dropped items, opening doors and turning on and off light switches. Donna says AJ is the light of her life, next to her husband, Chuck, of course! Donna, AJ, Chuck and Wendall live in Roseville, CA. |
