Jill and Uriah graduated as a CCI team in February 2000. As a CCI Hearing Dog, Uriah alerts Jill to such sounds as the phone or doorbell ringing, someone calling her name, or the microwave timer going off. Jill says, "Uriah has changed my life in ways that I never imagined. In addition to the sound work that Uriah routinely provides, he does all his work with a smile and a wag of his marvelous tail."

Jill's family says that "Uriah has truly brought happiness, independence and much joy into Jill's life. We have noticed that Jill is happier and has more self-esteem now that she doesn't worry about "missing out" on hearing important sounds. Jill truly believes Uriah is a wonder dog and such a blessing to have in her life." Jill feels deep gratitude to everyone associated with CCI who has made her dream come true with the gift of Uriah. Jill and Uriah make their home in Overland, KS. Uriah was raised by Paula Dunn and Katie Heffelfinger of Sacramento.
