Lisa and Kasky

Lisa and her husband, Steve, live in Brea, CA. Lisa graduated with Service Dog Kasky, in November 2002. Kasky is her second CCI Service Dog. Her first dog, Noussy, was with Lisa for 5 years before she was retired. It's quite obvious that Kasky adores both Lisa and Steve. They make a great family. Since a car accident in 1984, Lisa has been a C7 quadriplegic. Kasky helps Lisa in a variety of ways, none more important than what he does for her emotionally. He gives her constant unconditional love and does whatever tasks she asks of him, making her life easier. He is a very big, sweet lug of a dog. Lisa describes him as her soul mate. These two have developed a very tender bond. Whenever Lisa goes to feed him, Kasky waits for Lisa to kiss him before he eats. Then, before he drinks his water, he kisses her. They also love to play Frisbee together. Kasky was raised in Sacramento by Mo Nard and Stephanie Wilson. As difficult as it was for them to give Kasky up, they couldn't be more thrilled that Kasky is partnered with such a wonderful, loving person as Lisa.

This team was sponsored by t he 2002 Dawgs in the Ruff Benefit Golf Tournament.
