Marta and Cory "Cory has made such a big difference in my life. He helps me at home and when we are in public people are just drawn to us. He has helped me get out and volunteer at Marshall Hospital. All the nurses light up when we enter a room, and the patients love him, too!" Before Cory came along, Marta was becoming withdrawn and depressed by the limitations of her disability. Marta does not walk and has very limited use of her hands. Cory helps her live a safer life at home, and more active and involved life in public. "Cory has really renewed Marta's interest in life," says Marta's partner, Richard Scheiber. "She wants to share him with everyone." Marta, Richard and Cory reside in Placerville, CA |
